I met this little girls mommy and two sisters before she was even born. Mom wanted to announce that she was pregnant and what the gender of baby number 3 was going to be. Mom couldn't believe that she was pregnant again, E and V were going to be big sisters! 3 girls within 24 months of one another.
At 31 weeks she started having contractions, and didn't want to believe they were actual contractions. Already having had 2 babies, she knows what real contractions are. So she continued on her day trying to keep two little girls entertained and get errands done. After mentioning to a few friends that she thought she was just having braxton hick contractions, they strongly encouraged her to go to the hospital and make sure everything was alright. This was when things went a little different than planned. Since mom got pregnant 3 months after E was born via c-section she was at high risk for several complications. Mom thankfully had a great doctor who knew all about her medial history, and was carefully watching her when what happened next was going to be one of this mommas most terrifying moments. During a contraction baby B broke through moms uterus, and had to have an emergency c-section to save Mom and Baby B. Momma is doing well, and baby B other than her small size from being born at 31 weeks gestation, is doing well. Baby B will be in the hospital a little while longer while she grows, and learns to keep her heart rate up on her own, but otherwise is healthy. Sisters E and V are absolutely in love with little sister, and can't wait for her to be home.
Here are a few pictures of Baby B. These were taken to document this precious time she will spend in the NICU.
Baby B even has a picture of big sisters (yes I took that one)
