"Well, my very verbal 2.5 year old has heard a lot about boobies since her baby brother came. She has told both me and her grandmother that we have boobies, and describes the bodice or front of dresses as "boobies." Like, the bodice of Princess Elsa's dress is green, so she has "green boobies." I'm not quite sure how to address this. smile emoticon" ~Tracie

"Each one of my children has done something 'less than desirable' while nursing. My first one liked to pinch the back of my arm. my second was a 'nipple twiddler' - I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! My third one liked to perform nursing gymnastics and crawl all over the place all while trying to stay latched on - sometimes even nursing upsidedown! My 4th child liked to pull my hair - hard! and my last child, well he likes to fish hook my teeth and pull on my jaw! I have never encouraged any of these behaviors yet they all still picked something annoying to do while eating. Breastfeeding my babies has been the best thing I have ever done, but it certainly has not been the most peaceful experience of my life smile emoticon"` Mandy

"One day, walking around in Target, I was nursing him under as cover. He was only a few weeks old, so very tiny. It's those kind that look like a sweater shawl. So all of the sudden, he started going off with explosive gas. On ... and on ... and on. Well, you couldn't even really tell I was holding a baby under "my sweater" so people kept thinking it was me walking around just ripping them. (Not exactly a nursing funny .... but still funny!)" ~Heather

"Atticus' 2.5 year old brother seriously thinks my breastpump is for sucking boogies . I don't know where he got the idea. Every time I forget to put it away I catch him with it, turned on, with the tubes shoved up his nose. He also tried to use it on Atticus a few times."~Catherine
